<p><em>Phoenix TV</em>, a pro-China website in Hong Kong, said officials with the Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Agricultural Technology were hoping to discuss the mater with researcher Lu Lizhi. Other attempts to confirm the story went unanswered.</p>

<p>This is the second year Pakistan has been invaded by locusts, which have destroyed the country's cotton crop and is now threatening their wheat harvest.</p>

<p>Locusts are also <strong>infesting Saudi Arabia</strong> right now.</p>
